Chiropractic is based on the understanding that the natural state for our body is balance and health and true health comes when our body can grow, adapt and heal at it’s very best. The beauty of Chiropractic is in it’s simplicity. For health and vitality our nervous system needs to function without distortion or interference. The bones of the skull, spine and pelvis protect the delicate pathways that make up the nervous system. Misalignment of these bones alter nerve function and therefore impact normal healthy body function. Chiropractic is enjoyed by millions of people worldwide every year.

Dry needling is the use of single use disposable acupuncture needles for the treatment of muscle pain. It is also sometimes called intramuscular stimulation. Acupuncture and dry needling techniques are quite similar. Dry needling for the treatment of myofascial (muscular) trigger points targets the direct source of patient pain, rather than the traditional meridians used in acupuncture.
At Chirofamily, Dry Needling may be used in the treatment of muscle pain and to facilitate the stimulation of trigger points during treatment. It may help with deep muscle pain, tightness and tension.
Your feet have direct impact on the rest of your body and support you with each step. A small abnormality in foot function can have a large impact on joints higher up in the body, causing pain and discomfort. When you are running, the pressure on your feet can be three or four times your body weight. Even walking can produce more pressure than the sum of your body weight. Many people are surprised to learn that 25% of the bones in your body are located into your feet. How your feet connect to the ground has a direct impact on the health, mobility, function and discomfort of your joints and spine.
